Who we are
Top Four Fantasy ("TFF", "we", "us") is a fantasy football product for the English top flight. This policy explains what personal data we process when you use our website and related services.

What we collect
Depending on how you use TFF, we may process:
- Account details — email address, display name, and authentication identifiers from email/password or sign-in providers (Google, Apple).
- Product data — watchlists, draft participation and picks, simulation results linked to your account, and similar gameplay records.
- Guest / device data — anonymous draft session cookies and device-local watchlist data before you create an account.
- Technical data — IP address (for abuse protection and rate limits), browser/device basics, and error diagnostics.
- Analytics — product usage events (for example draft started or completed) via Vercel Analytics.
Football statistics and player media references come from our data providers (including Sportmonks). Those feeds are about public match data, not your personal account, except where they appear in your squad or research views.
How we use your data
- Create and secure your account, and keep you signed in
- Run drafts, lobbies, recaps, and related fantasy features
- Save watchlists and draft history across devices when you are signed in
- Prevent abuse (rate limits, fraud, and security monitoring)
- Understand product performance and fix errors
- Respond to support requests you send us
We do not sell your personal data.
Sign-in with Google or Apple
If you choose Google or Apple sign-in, those providers authenticate you and share limited profile information with us (typically a verified email and name, subject to your provider settings — Apple may use a private relay email).
Their own privacy policies apply to how they process your data. You can disconnect or delete your TFF account as described below.
Who we share data with
We use service providers that process data on our behalf to operate TFF:
- Supabase — authentication and database
- Vercel — hosting, deployments, and product analytics
- Sentry — error monitoring (when enabled)
- Sportmonks — football data used in the product
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the security and integrity of the service.
Cookies and similar storage
We use cookies and local storage that are needed for the product to work — for example auth session cookies, guest draft credentials, and device watchlists. These are not used to run third-party advertising networks.
Retention and deletion
We keep account and gameplay data while your account is active and as needed to operate the service. You may request deletion of your account; when account deletion is available in the product, it removes your auth user and associated profile/watchlist data. Draft history may remain in anonymised form (without your user link) so league records stay coherent for other participants.

Children
TFF is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
Changes
We may update this policy as the product evolves. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
